Building awareness and education about local needs through service, opportunities, and events

At PBO Advisory Group, community service is an important – and fulfilling – aspect of our culture.

On Saturday, October 23, in partnership with HandsOn San Diego and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater San Diego, our team got to work revitalizing the Clairemont Branch of the Boys & Girls Clubs. Twenty-five members of our team participated, along with a few from our IT firm centrextIT.

We spent time clearing overgrown plants, removing cement pavers, and clearing out leaves. The outdoor area was transformed into a fresh, new space for kids to enjoy, complete with two new picnic tables, chalkboards, and room to play.

And it isn’t just the kids who benefitted from our service. All who participated finished the day with a sense of accomplishment and pride that they were able to help make a difference!
