In Good Company: PBO Employees Give Back

Part of the PBO’s mission to positively contribute to the community where we live, work, play, and to encourage our employees to do so as well.   PBO is dedicated to not only providing our clients with the highest quality services, but to also cultivate a supportive and compassionate company culture. Many of our staff at PBO support causes they are passionate about by donating their talents to local organizations that help foster and enrich the community.

Senior Staff Accountant, Samantha Canty, recently volunteered her time and talents to Performing Arts Workshop’s nonprofit —Performing Arts Workshop Studio Company (PAWSC), which brings dance instruction to the greater San Diego community. PAWSC regularly brings the art of dance to elderly care facilities throughout San Diego, through select performances and instruction.

Canty tailored costumes and helped build sets and props for Performing Arts Workshop’s annual Nutcracker performance. For Canty,

“The performing arts (especially dance) holds a special place in my heart because I have been a dancer all my life. I danced professionally with the Long Beach Ballet in my youth, and I understand the constant financial struggle of artists and arts organizations. The PAWSC brings quality instruction to North County dancers and brings the gift of dance to local seniors and to the community at large.”

With passionate employees like Samantha Canty at PBO our clients are In Good Company.
