When PBO acquired the west coast governance risk and compliance group from IPSA International in January 2017, they added several senior consultants onto the team including Nikole Andreozzi. As a Senior Manager of the Governance Risk & Compliance Group, Nikole is responsible for working with clients to ensure Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance.
The Sarbanes-Oxley Act requires that all publicly held companies must establish internal controls and procedures for financial reporting to reduce the possibility of corporate fraud. With all the requirements to ensure SOX compliance, many organizations struggle to achieve compliance. That is where PBO’s new GRC group and Nikole’s expertise come in to ensure that your company achieves SOX compliance in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Nikole provides guidance on initial setup of policies and procedures, walkthroughs and testing to ensure compliance with all SOX requirements. She works with a number of public companies including Halozyme Therapeutics, MEI Pharma, and Trovagene and enjoys the diversity of people and companies to ensure their success with SOX.
Having worked with Mike Ford at various companies over the past 11 years, Nikole is looking forward to growing the SOX division at PBO. When not working with clients on their SOX compliance, Nikole spends the majority of her free time spending time with her family and dogs, travelling, or cycling the coast.
