Employee Spotlight: Jennifer Carlyle

This month PBO Advisory Group turns our employee spotlight on Jennifer Carlyle, a fractional controller on our team.

Jennifer operates as the controller for many of our clients’ businesses. Her varied responsibilities include assessing client accounting needs and recommending changes for improvement. As a fractional controller, she oversees all accounting operations including new hire training and in-house procedures while also providing monthly financial overviews and reports for clients.

One of the most appealing aspects of her role is the variety of industries and client types that Jennifer works with. She also enjoys getting to see clients succeed at building a strong accounting foundation for their company so that senior management can make informed financial decisions.

Jennifer earned two undergraduate and one graduate degree while working full time and raising four children on her own. It’s no surprise that she says:

“I believe people can do anything they are determined to accomplish. I don’t believe in saying, ‘I can’t.’”

A bride-to-be who is getting married this fall, Jennifer enjoys live music events and traveling. She is a proud grandmother and is thrilled to work at PBO Advisory, a company that she notes values its employees and encourages work/life balance.
