With more than 35 years of management consulting, business advisory, and outsourcing experience, Mike has provided services to more than 400 clients in various industries. Before founding PBO Advisory Group, he worked for Deloitte – eight years in their consulting group and six years as the managing director for Resources Global Solutions (NASDQ: RECN). He is the co-founder and shareholder of several professional services firms including NBS Finance, and RoseRyan’s Southern California division, and Q5 Group (Premier Alliance Group). Mike also co-founded and worked as a sports agent at 7 Sports Group. He is a member of the Forbes Finance Council and contributes articles on accounting and finance issues. Mike is a former member of the City of La Mesa Planning Commission and served on the board of directors of the Leukemia Society’s San Diego & Hawaii chapter. Beyond his professional pursuits, Mike is a co-author of two sports books. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University (Ohio) in political science & economics and has two master’s degrees from The Ohio State University.

Fran has nearly 30 years of experience in finance and business management in a wide range of organizations, including three start-up ventures. Her areas of expertise include financial oversight, strategic planning, and business development. Her experience includes key financial positions at Sony and The Wherehouse, serving as CFO of an internet start-up, and CFO/COO of a global entertainment business where she had full P&L responsibility. Fran is passionate about supporting entrepreneurs in growing their businesses. She attended Vanderbilt University, where she earned a BS degree in Math & Sociology.

Our founder Mike Ford, along with three other business executives, start Pro Back Office. The new organization’s initial business plan is to provide back office professional accounting and operational services to pro-athletes and professional business associations, therefore the word “Pro” as part of the company name.
